Tenterden

Tenterden's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place on Tuesday evenings at 8pm at Zion Baptist Church on Bridewell Lane, just off the town's high street, and runs for an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, so the door is genuinely open to everyone: people who have a desire to stop drinking, partners and relatives wanting to understand what they are living with, friends, and professionals with an interest in recovery. The longer format gives plenty of time for shares and for a proper welcome for newcomers. There is no charge and nothing to book; you simply turn up. Wheelchair access at the church has not been confirmed for this meeting.
