A Monday lunchtime Alcoholics Anonymous meeting runs at one o'clock at the Missionary Of Charities Sisters building on The Strand in Swansea city centre, lasting an hour. It gives people working or living centrally a way to fit a meeting into the middle of the day, meeting in a venue with a strong local history of supporting people in need. Sharing focuses on the desire to stop drinking, and as a closed meeting it is kept for those pursuing their own recovery rather than open to family, friends or professionals wishing to observe.
