Sutton Inspire Newcomers

Aimed squarely at people in their first days and weeks without a drink, Sutton Inspire Newcomers meets on Wednesdays at 1pm at Inspire, Orion House, 19 Cedar Road, close to Sutton town centre, and runs for an hour and a half. A newcomer-focused meeting keeps things simple: what alcoholism is, what AA suggests, and how people actually get through the early days. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking; you do not need any sober time, a referral or previous experience of AA to attend. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking, and if you only feel able to sit at the back and listen, that is a perfectly good first meeting.
