Sunday Guildford

This Guildford group meets every Sunday at 5pm at the United Reformed Church on Portsmouth Road. It is an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting, part of a fellowship for adults whose childhood was shaped by a parent's drinking or by other family dysfunction, using shared experience and the twelve steps to work through what that upbringing left behind rather than to stop a habit of their own. Being an open meeting, it welcomes anyone, including people who are not themselves adult children of alcoholics but want to understand or support someone who is. There is no fee to attend and no need to book; newcomers can simply arrive at the church for the five o'clock start.
