Stranorlar

The Stranorlar group also holds a Sunday midday meeting at 12pm, following the same Big Book format as its Friday session, at the Finn Valley Resource Centre on Drumboe Avenue, Co. Donegal. A lunchtime slot on Sunday offers a different rhythm from the group's evening meetings, and can suit people who prefer to start their week with a meeting behind them rather than fitting one in during a busy evening. It remains a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, for people who have a desire to stop drinking, rather than an open session for family members or professionals. There is no cost to attend and no booking process. Anyone in the Stranorlar area, or the wider Finn Valley, is welcome to arrive shortly before 12pm on Sunday for this meeting.
