St Albans Tuesday

St Albans hosts a weekly Al-Anon Family Groups meeting on Tuesdays at 12.30pm, based at a room at the Presbytery of SS Alban and Stephen Catholic Church on Beaconsfield Road. The fellowship is for people who have lived with someone else's drinking - a partner, a parent, a child, a friend - and gives them a place that is about their own experience, not the drinker's, however that drinking has affected them. Being an open meeting, it welcomes anyone who wants to attend, whether a newcomer, a professional, or someone finding out what Al-Anon offers before committing to going regularly. Meetings last approximately an hour and a half, free of charge, with nothing to sign up for in advance and no pressure to attend every week.
