St Albans Tradition 3

St Albans Tradition 3 meets on Tuesday evenings at 8pm at Dagnell St Baptist Church, 1 Cross Street, for one hour. The name comes from AA's Third Tradition, which says the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking, and the meeting carries that spirit: nobody checks who you are, nobody signs you in, and the door is open in every sense. It is an open meeting, so family members, friends and professionals may attend as well. The church is wheelchair accessible, and the one-hour running time keeps the evening compact. There is no charge and no booking or referral; arriving a few minutes before 8pm on a Tuesday is all it takes.
