About this meeting

Every Saturday morning at 10:00, this Narcotics Anonymous group meets in Birkenhead to work through the Spiritual Principle A Day book, one day and one principle at a time. Based around literature study, the format gives members a steady, reflective way to start the weekend, reading together and talking about how the principles apply in everyday life. The meeting runs for an hour and takes place above the Nightingale Recovery Cafe on Argyle Street, near the town centre. As the room is upstairs, be aware there are stairs to reach it. This is a members' meeting for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, and newcomers who share that desire are always welcome to come along and listen.

Common questions

Who can attend this meeting?

This is a closed NA meeting, which means it is for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. If that describes you, you are welcome. Closed simply refers to who attends, not the meeting itself, and newcomers are encouraged to come.

Do I need to book or pay?

No. NA meetings are free to attend and there is no booking. Just turn up on the Saturday morning. A voluntary contribution is passed round to cover costs, but nobody is expected to give and you can attend without contributing.

Where exactly is the meeting held?

It takes place above the Nightingale Recovery Cafe at 88-90 Argyle Street, CH41 6AG, in Birkenhead. The room is on an upper floor, so please note there are stairs to reach it.
