Southbourne General Share

Southbourne General Share meets on Thursday evenings at 7.45pm at City Gate Church on Tuckton Road, in the Southbourne area of Bournemouth. The format is a general share: members take turns talking about their experience with drinking and recovery, and you can share or simply listen. Running an hour and a quarter, it is a closed meeting, intended for anyone who has a desire to stop drinking, very much including people walking in for the first time. Those wanting to support a friend or relative would be better matched with an open meeting. The church is wheelchair accessible. It costs nothing to attend and there is no booking or referral involved; turning up is all that is required.
