Bournemouth 12 Step Study

Bournemouth 12 Step Study meets on Tuesday evenings at Citygate Church on Tuckton Road in Southbourne, from 7.45pm to 9pm. As the name suggests, the meeting studies AA's Twelve Steps, so each week centres on the recovery programme itself rather than general discussion. It is open to everyone: people who want to stop drinking, plus family, friends and professionals who want to understand what AA involves. The church has wheelchair access. The group also operates a chit system, so if you need proof of attendance for a court, probation or treatment requirement, a member can sign a slip for you. It is free, there is no booking, and newcomers are welcome to simply listen.
