Southampton Step

The Southampton Step meeting shares the same Keeble Centre venue behind Shirley Baptist Church on Church Street, but runs on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm for around ninety minutes and is a members-only session. As a closed meeting, it is intended for those already part of AA rather than newcomers or first-time visitors, giving members a focused space each week to work through the Twelve Steps in sequence. Wheelchair access at the Keeble Centre has not been confirmed, so members with mobility needs may want to check ahead of attending. Alongside the open Friday meeting held at the same address, this Thursday group gives the Shirley fellowship an additional weekly slot centred specifically on step work and a shared desire to stop drinking.
