Sandbach

Sandbach's Thursday AA meeting is held at 8pm on the first floor of the Sandbach Literary Institute on Bold Street, near the junction with Bradwell Road, and lasts about an hour and a half. It is a closed meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the general public, and it does not operate a chit system. The notes for this meeting mention steep steps up to the first-floor room, so it will not suit everyone with mobility difficulties, and anyone concerned should contact the group beforehand to discuss alternatives. Despite the stairs, it remains one of the longer-running weekly meetings in this part of Cheshire.
