Al-Anon exists for people touched by someone else's drinking, whatever the relationship, whether a partner, parent, adult child or friend. The drinker themselves is not the member. This meeting is open, so newcomers and long-standing members attend the same session. No. You are welcome whether or not the person whose drinking concerns you ever attends themselves. Plenty of members come by themselves, and the meeting works the same way either way.

How do I join, and is there a fee?

Al-Anon meetings are always free to attend, and there is no booking system, so turning up on Monday at 7pm is all that is needed. The meeting lasts around an hour and three quarters.
