About this meeting

Preston CA meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at Ashton Methodist Church on Wellington Road, Ashton-on-Ribble. It is an open meeting with a strong newcomer focus, combining speaker shares with CA literature, and it runs for an hour and a half. Cocaine Anonymous is for anyone who wants to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances — cocaine does not need to have been your drug of choice. The church has wheelchair access and on-site parking. Ashton Methodist hosts several twelve-step meetings across the week, so the venue is well used to welcoming new faces; walk in and someone will point you to the right room.

Common questions

Is this meeting good for newcomers?

Yes — newcomers are a stated focus of this group. You will be welcomed, you will not be asked to speak, and it costs nothing.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, Ashton Methodist Church has wheelchair access, and there is parking on site.

What if my problem was drink or other drugs, not cocaine?

CA's third tradition asks only for a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. People who came in through drink, crack, ketamine or anything else are all part of the fellowship.
