Presteigne

In the small Powys border town of Presteigne, AA meets on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at the East Radnorshire Day Centre, in the Old School Building on Scottleton Street. The meeting lasts an hour. It is an open meeting, so the welcome extends beyond people with a desire to stop drinking to family members, friends and professionals; in a rural area where meetings are spread out, that openness matters. The Day Centre is wheelchair accessible. A chit system operates, which means the group can sign an attendance slip if you need evidence for court, probation or a treatment provider. As always with AA, there is nothing to pay and no booking; you just arrive before 7pm and go in.
