Craven Arms

Craven Arms meets every Thursday at 6.30pm at Leila's Cafe on Shrewsbury Road, next to Tuffins in the small Shropshire town of Craven Arms. Meeting in a cafe rather than a church hall gives this group a slightly different feel from many AA meetings. It is a closed meeting, kept for people with a desire to stop drinking. The venue is wheelchair accessible, so getting in and finding a seat should be straightforward. Craven Arms lies south of Shrewsbury, closer to Ludlow, and this meeting is a useful local fixture for AA members across this rural stretch of south Shropshire. There is no cost to attend and no need to book beforehand, so anyone eligible can simply arrive on the evening.
