Poynton

The Poynton group meets on Monday nights at 8pm at Poynton Youth and Community Centre, 107 Park Lane, and runs until 9.30pm. Getting in is straightforward once you know the way: entry to the meeting is through the fire door reached from the rear car park, rather than the main entrance, so head round the back when you arrive. It is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which means it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking or who are beginning to question their drinking; anyone in that position can turn up without notice, and first-timers are always welcome. The venue is wheelchair accessible and, as with all AA meetings, attendance is free.
