Stockport Newcomers

Stockport Newcomers meets on Saturday evenings at 6.30pm at St Peter's Parish Centre on Green Lane, Hazel Grove, with entry through the rear of the building. As a newcomers meeting it keeps the door as wide open as possible: it is an open AA meeting, so alongside anyone with a desire to stop drinking, family, friends and professionals may attend, and the shares tend to stay close to what early sobriety is actually like. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and the venue is wheelchair accessible. St Peter's hosts other AA meetings on Thursdays and Sundays, so if Saturday goes well there are follow-on options in the same building.
