Portslade Friday Night Acceptance

Portslade Friday Night Acceptance meets at 6.30pm on Fridays at the South Portslade Community Centre on Church Road in Portslade, at the western end of Brighton. The meeting lasts an hour, a manageable commitment at the end of the working week. It is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which means it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking; you do not need to have decided anything more than that, and plenty of people arrive unsure and just listen. The centre has wheelchair access. There is no charge and no booking, and the venue also hosts weekday morning meetings if Friday evening is not enough on its own.
