Zoom Meeting: To request link to online meeting email [email protected]
Portlaoise Serenity meets on Monday evenings at 7pm in the Beech Haven Day Centre at Beladd, just outside Portlaoise. Monday's session follows a Steps and Tradition format, working through the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions in turn. Like most AA meetings in Ireland, it is members-only, reserved for those with a desire to stop drinking, though first-timers do not need any introduction to attend. For anyone unable to get to the room in person, the group also runs a Zoom option, with the link available by emailing [email protected] ahead of the meeting. Attendance is free either way and there is no booking system for the in-person session. Wheelchair access at Beech Haven Day Centre has not been confirmed.
Can I join this meeting online instead of in person
Yes. A Zoom link can be requested by emailing [email protected] before the meeting, as an alternative to attending the Beech Haven Day Centre in person.
Do I need to have been to AA before to come along
No. Although it is a members-only meeting for people with a desire to stop drinking, a first visit is entirely welcome.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible
This has not been confirmed for Beech Haven Day Centre, so it is worth checking directly if step-free access matters to you.
