About this meeting

Pokora is a Polish-speaking Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Rugby, held on Saturday afternoons at 3pm in the Divine Mercy Chapel at 17 Lawford Road. The entire meeting is conducted in Polish, giving Polish speakers in the Rugby area a place to talk about stopping drinking in their first language. Pokora means humility, a theme that runs through the AA programme. It is an open meeting lasting an hour and a half, so family members and friends are welcome as well as people who want to stop drinking themselves. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed at this venue. There is no charge and nothing to book; arriving shortly before 3pm is all that is required.
