About this meeting

Al-Anon Parkhead Wednesday meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at Parkhead Schoolhouse on Westmuir Street in Glasgow. The group is for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, including partners, parents, adult children and friends, and it's open to all of them regardless of whether the drinking is ongoing. No connection to Alcoholics Anonymous is needed, and members are not required to have attended Al-Anon before. Meetings give people a confidential, regular space to talk about their own experience of living alongside someone else's drinking and to hear from others in a similar position. Newcomers from Parkhead and the wider east end of Glasgow are welcome to attend without any introduction.
