Nooners @ 164 is a Tuesday lunchtime Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Boscombe Baptist Church, 26 Palmerston Road in Bournemouth, running from 12.30pm for an hour and a quarter. The midday timing is the whole point: it suits shift workers, parents, and anyone who wants a steadying hour in the middle of the day rather than waiting for an evening meeting. It is an open meeting, so along with people who have a desire to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals are welcome to come and see what AA is about. The church is wheelchair accessible. As always with AA, there is no charge, no register and no booking; arriving a few minutes early is all the preparation needed.
