Newport Newcomers Big Book

Newport Newcomers Big Book meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, usually at the Salvation Army Hall, 1 Hill Street, Newport. One quirk is worth knowing: on the first Tuesday of every month the meeting moves to Rodney Parade on Rodney Road, NP19 0UU, in the building on the left before the stadium shop. The group reads the Big Book with newcomers in mind, so it suits people at the very start of getting sober. It is a closed meeting, for anyone who has, or thinks they may have, a desire to stop drinking. The Salvation Army Hall is wheelchair accessible, and attendance is free with no booking.
