Newport 12 & 12

Newport 12 & 12 is a Saturday lunchtime meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous in Newport, South Wales, held at 12.30pm in The Chapel in the grounds of St Woolos Hospital. The hour-long meeting is based on Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, the book that examines each step and tradition in turn, so expect a reading followed by members sharing their experience of the topic. It is a closed meeting, kept to people who have, or think they might have, a desire to stop drinking; anyone in that position is welcome regardless of how new they are. There is no cost and no booking. A weekend daytime meeting can be a steadying fixture when Saturdays otherwise feel unstructured.
