Newcastle Lgbtq (Intimacy In Recovery)

Newcastle's LGBTQ meeting, titled Intimacy in Recovery, meets on Sunday mornings at George Street Social from half past ten for an hour and a half. It is a closed meeting, open to AA members from the LGBTQ community who want to discuss recovery from a desire to stop drinking alongside issues around intimacy and relationships in sobriety. The group meets in the same George Street building used by several other Newcastle upon Tyne meetings, close to the West End. No chit system is offered at this particular meeting. Wheelchair access to the venue has not been confirmed, and hearing loop provision is similarly unconfirmed, so members who need either should get in touch with the group directly before their first visit.
