Nelson Wednesday Night

St Philips Church on Leeds Road in Nelson hosts Nelson Wednesday Night, running from 7pm for an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, so anyone touched by drug use is welcome, including family, friends and professionals as well as people with a desire to stop using drugs themselves. The format alternates week to week between an experience, strength and hope main chair and readings from Narcotics Anonymous literature, giving the group variety across the month. There is no cost involved and nobody needs to book ahead, so newcomers can simply come along on a Wednesday evening. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue, so anyone with mobility needs may want to check beforehand.
