The White House on Redcar Road in Marske-by-the-Sea, on the Cleveland coast near Redcar, holds an in-person Al-Anon Family Groups meeting every Monday at 10am. Al-Anon is for people affected by someone else's drinking, such as partners, parents, adult children and friends, and not for the person who drinks. As an open meeting, you can attend without contacting anyone in advance, and there is no need for the person whose drinking concerns you to come along, or to know about it. The meeting lasts an hour, is free to attend, and there is no booking system. It runs weekly on Monday mornings.

Do I need to bring the person whose drinking has affected me?
No. The meeting is for you, in your own right. Many people attend on their own and the relative or friend who drinks never needs to come along, or even know you are going.
Does it cost anything, and do I need to book?
It is free to attend and there is no need to book or register. The meeting is held weekly on Mondays at 10am and lasts an hour; just arrive for the start.
