Manchester Wednesday Meeting Face to Face

The Manchester Wednesday Meeting is held face to face at 7.30pm at Union Chapel in Fallowfield. As an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting, it is for adults who grew up with a parent's drinking or with other family dysfunction, and the emphasis throughout is on healing from childhood rather than on changing a present-day habit. Because the meeting is open, friends, partners and professionals are just as welcome as those who identify with growing up in that kind of home. This Union Chapel is a Fallowfield venue, distinct from the better-known building of the same name in Islington, London. It costs nothing to attend and there's nothing to book ahead of time - newcomers can simply turn up and join the group.
