Getting there
About this meeting
MadeNa is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting held every Monday at 7pm in Boston. The only requirement for attending, as with any Narcotics Anonymous meeting, is a desire to stop using drugs. Narcotics Anonymous is a non-professional, self-supporting fellowship of people who meet regularly to help one another stay clean. There is no charge to attend and no need to book a place in advance; you can simply turn up on the day. As is usual for NA, the meeting is organised and run by its own members, with no professional involvement.
Common questions
Is this meeting for everyone, or just people in treatment?
It is not restricted to anyone in a particular programme or treatment service. It is simply for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. Like all NA meetings, MadeNa is free to attend and there is no need to book a place in advance.
Will I have to speak?
No, sharing is entirely voluntary. Many people attend several meetings before they say anything at all.
