Luton Wednesday

The Luton Wednesday group meets weekly at the Church Hall of St Martin de Porres on Leagrave High Street, starting at 8pm and lasting around an hour and a half. It is part of Al-Anon Family Groups, a fellowship for anyone whose life has been touched by someone else's drinking, from partners and parents through to adult children and close friends. Because it is an open meeting, you do not need to already be a member to attend; newcomers, visitors and professionals are equally welcome alongside regulars. No one is required to speak, and there is no assessment or referral process to go through first. The meeting draws people from Luton and the wider Bedfordshire area, including nearby Dunstable, looking for support that understands what living alongside someone's drinking is really like.
