On Friday afternoons at 2.30pm, an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting is held in Soho at 123 Charing Cross Road. ACA is for adults who grew up with alcoholism or other family dysfunction in their childhood home, and members use the Twelve Steps to work through the lasting effects of that upbringing rather than to stop a current behaviour. This is an open meeting, so anyone who identifies with that experience is welcome, including newcomers who have never attended before. Sharing is voluntary, so it is perfectly fine to come and simply listen. The meeting is free to attend, held in person, and there is no need to book.
