As the name suggests, the meeting keeps things simple, returning to the fundamentals of the Alcoholics Anonymous programme, which many people find refreshing whether they are brand new or years sober. It lasts an hour and is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family members, friends and professionals as well as anyone with a desire to stop drinking.
