Bristol As Bill Sees It

Bristol As Bill Sees It meets late on Thursday mornings, from 11.45am for an hour, at St Barnabas Church Hall on Church Avenue in Warmley, on the eastern edge of Bristol. The format draws on As Bill Sees It, a collection of short writings by AA's co-founder, with a reading followed by sharing, which keeps each week fresh and focused. It is an open meeting, welcoming anyone: people who want to stop drinking, those quietly wondering, and family, friends or professionals. The hall is wheelchair accessible. A daytime meeting reaches people that evening meetings miss, including shift workers, parents and older members, and its position just off the Bristol to Bath corridor makes it reachable from either city. Attendance is free.
