Venue Info: Car park behind church. Door at back of church Bus Routes: X3 From Buchan Street Travel Comment: 10 minutes from Glasgow City Centre once on Motorway
Keep The Faith Thursdays meets each week in the Cafe Room at Chryston Parish Church Hall, just off Main Street in Chryston. Starting at 7.30pm and running for an hour and fifteen minutes, this Narcotics Anonymous group brings together a mix of formats: candlelight, meditation, a speaker and open sharing. It's an open meeting, so alongside members you'll find family, friends and anyone curious about how NA works. Getting here is straightforward — there's a car park behind the church, and the door you want is round the back. The X3 bus from Buchan Street stops nearby, and if you're driving it's roughly ten minutes from Glasgow city centre once you're on the motorway. Please note pets aren't permitted at this meeting.
Can I come along if I'm not sure whether I'm ready?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome — including people wondering about their own drug use, as well as family, friends and professionals. The only requirement for NA membership is a desire to stop using drugs. You can simply listen if you prefer.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No booking is needed and there's no charge. NA meetings are free to attend; a small voluntary contribution is passed round to cover room hire and refreshments, but you're never obliged to give. Just turn up before 7.30pm.
How do I get there and where do I go in?
The venue is Chryston Parish Church Hall on Main Street. Use the door at the back of the church, where there's also a car park. The X3 bus from Buchan Street serves the area. The room is wheelchair accessible, and please note pets aren't allowed.
