Venue Info: Access via side gate entrance to church in Moorgreen Road
This Narcotics Anonymous meeting gathers every Wednesday at midday in the Meeting Room at Cowes Baptist Church, on the corner of Moorgreen Road and High Street in Cowes. To find the room, use the side gate entrance to the church on Moorgreen Road. Sessions run for around an hour and a quarter and follow a Just For Today book study format, reading and reflecting together on a short daily passage. A creche is provided, which can make a real difference if you'd otherwise struggle to attend. As an open meeting, it welcomes anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, along with family, friends and interested professionals. The venue is wheelchair accessible. If Wednesday lunchtimes suit you, this is a steady midweek anchor on the Island.
Can I come along if I'm new or just want to find out more?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people with a desire to stop using drugs as well as family, friends and professionals. Newcomers are always welcome and there's no need to speak until you're ready.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation may be passed round, but you're never expected to give anything, especially as a newcomer.
Is there wheelchair access and childcare?
Yes to both. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and a creche is provided at this meeting. Enter via the side gate on Moorgreen Road to reach the Meeting Room.
