Ilkeston Step

Ilkeston Step is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held on Monday evenings at 8pm in the Church Hall off Regent Street, situated behind St Thomas Roman Catholic Church, running for about an hour and a half. Being closed, it is intended for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the wider public, so newcomers should be aware of this before attending. The Church Hall has confirmed wheelchair access, making it a practical venue for members with mobility needs. No chit system operates at this meeting. The format is themed around discussion of the Twelve Steps used within Alcoholics Anonymous.
