Hove Newcomers

The later of two Friday newcomers meetings at the same venue, Hove Newcomers meets at 7.30pm at the Cornerstone Community Centre, at St John's Church on the corner of First Avenue and Church Road just off Palmeira Square, and runs for an hour and a half. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with a focus on people attending their first meetings, and anyone is welcome, including supporters and professionals. The centre has wheelchair access. A chit system operates, so attendance can be confirmed in writing for court, probation or treatment. If 7.30pm is too late, an earlier newcomers meeting runs at 6pm at the same address.
