Hemel Hempstead Candlelit Speaker

Hemel Hempstead Candlelit Speaker meets on Thursday evenings at 8pm at St Mary's Church on London Road in Apsley End, running for an hour and a half. The room is lit by candlelight and the main share comes from a speaker telling their story of drinking and recovery, a combination that makes for a calm, unpressured evening; you can simply sit and listen, and many first-timers do exactly that. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family members, friends and professionals as well as anyone with a desire to stop drinking. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue. There is no charge, no register and no booking; just arrive shortly before eight on a Thursday.
