Hackney

The Hackney group meets on Monday evenings at 8pm at Edward Gibbons House, 1 Parmiter Street, directly opposite Cambridge Heath mainline station, which makes it straightforward to reach from Hackney, Bethnal Green and the surrounding area. The meeting lasts an hour. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so alongside people who want to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals are welcome to attend and listen. Like every AA meeting, it is entirely free, and there is no booking, referral or membership paperwork; the only requirement for AA membership itself is a desire to stop drinking. If it is your first time, you can simply take a seat and listen.
