London LGBTQIA+ Gender Non-Conforming ACA Meeting

This ACA meeting in Bethnal Green is specifically for LGBTQIA+ and gender non-conforming members of the fellowship, meeting every Wednesday at 7pm at the Bethnal Green Quaker Meeting on Old Ford Road. Adult Children of Alcoholics exists for adults shaped by growing up with a parent's drinking or with other family dysfunction, with recovery understood as healing from that early experience rather than as giving up a habit. Since it is an open meeting, nobody is turned away - friends, partners and professionals attend alongside those who identify as adult children. It offers a space where that identity and the experience of growing up with alcoholism or family dysfunction can be spoken about together. Attendance is free and there is no need to book a place beforehand - anyone interested can simply come along on the night.
