Gatley Saturday

Gatley Hill House Community Centre on Church Road, in Gatley, part of Cheadle in Cheshire, runs an Al-Anon Family Groups meeting every Saturday at 10am. Members are people affected by someone else's drinking rather than drinkers themselves, partners, parents, adult children, siblings and friends whose own wellbeing has been touched by it. This is an open meeting, meaning newcomers can walk in on the day, and the relative or friend who drinks does not need to be there, or to have agreed to anything first. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and is free to attend, with no booking or referral needed. A Saturday morning slot can work well for anyone who finds weekday evenings difficult to get to.
