Gatley Hill House

Gatley Hill House is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Gatley, near Cheadle, held every Monday evening at 8pm at Gatley Hill House Community Centre on Church Road. The meeting lasts an hour and is a closed meeting, which simply means it is kept for people who have, or think they might have, a desire to stop drinking; family, friends and professionals are asked to choose an open AA meeting instead. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and nothing to sign up for, so if drink has become a worry you can arrive a few minutes before 8pm, take a seat and just listen. Nobody will make you speak, and first names are all that is ever used.
