Gam-Anon Telford

Gam-Anon Telford meets on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at The Salvation Army on Lion Street. The group is for people affected by someone else's gambling, such as partners, parents, adult children and friends, rather than for the person who gambles. You're welcome regardless of whether the gambling is ongoing, in the past, or the relationship has changed since, and there's no requirement to bring the person concerned along. The meeting runs for two and a half hours, giving plenty of time for members to share their experience and support each other through the Gam-Anon Twelve Step programme. It's free to attend, with no booking or referral needed beforehand, and newcomers can simply arrive on the night without any prior contact with the group.
