Galway City Mervue

The Mervue group also meets on Saturday nights at 9pm, in the same Room 4 at the Old Community Centre next to Mervue Church, giving people in the area a second weekly option. As with the Monday session, it is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, intended for those with a desire to stop drinking rather than the wider public. A late Saturday meeting can suit people who want support available later in the evening, particularly at weekends. There is no cost involved and no need to book ahead of time. Wheelchair access at Room 4 has not been confirmed, so anyone with access requirements is advised to check with the group directly before attending.
