For The Newcomer – 1st Tuesday Of Month Is Step Meeting

For The Newcomer meets every Tuesday at 8pm on Brownshill Road in the Askea area of Carlow, with the first Tuesday of each month given over to a step meeting rather than the usual open format. It is a closed Narcotics Anonymous meeting, for people with a desire to stop using drugs rather than the general public, though as its name suggests it is particularly geared towards those early in recovery. Askea sits on the eastern edge of Carlow town, within easy reach of the town centre. New attendees can expect a welcoming, unhurried pace at this meeting regardless of which week they arrive.
