Downing Place URC

This meeting is held every Friday at 5pm at Downing Place United Reformed Church in the centre of Cambridge. The fellowship is for adults whose formative years were affected by a parent's drinking or by wider family dysfunction, and its programme centres on healing from that childhood experience rather than on stopping a present-day behaviour. Because the meeting is open, friends, partners and professionals are just as welcome as those who identify with growing up in that kind of home. There's no fee and no need to contact anyone in advance; anyone interested can simply walk in shortly before the meeting starts.
