The Friday Cambridge Lunchtime meeting closes out the weekday run at Downing Place United Reformed Church on Downing Street, meeting from 12 noon to 1pm in the centre of the city. It is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, reserved for people who have a desire to stop drinking, and for many regulars it is the deliberate full stop before the weekend, a steadying hour before Friday night arrives. The church is wheelchair accessible. If you cannot make Fridays, the same venue hosts the identical meeting Monday to Thursday lunchtimes. As with every AA meeting there is no charge, no booking and no obligation to say anything; turning up is the only step that matters.
