About this meeting

Emotional Sobriety meets on Wednesdays at 7.30pm in Room 3 at Downham Market Methodist Church on Paradise Road, and lasts an hour and a quarter. Entry is through the side door alongside the veterinary surgery, so do not be put off if the front of the church looks quiet. The theme, emotional sobriety, is about the quality of recovery beyond simply not drinking. It is an open meeting: anyone may attend, including friends, family and professionals. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost and no booking. The same room hosts a Saturday evening meeting at 7.30pm, so Downham Market has two chances a week to get to a meeting.
