Dovercourt Big Book

Dovercourt Big Book meets every Sunday at 7pm at Harwich Arts And Heritage Centre on Main Rd, and runs for about an hour and a half. It's an open AA meeting, welcoming family members, friends and anyone curious about the fellowship, as well as those with a desire to stop drinking. As the name suggests, the format is built around reading and discussing the Big Book, giving newcomers a steady way into AA's core text alongside more experienced members. The Arts And Heritage Centre is wheelchair accessible, and its Main Rd location makes it a fairly central meeting point for the Harwich and Dovercourt area. There is no cost to attend and no need to book, so anyone can simply come along on the Sunday evening.
